Maywood

Located in Bergen County, New Jersey, the Maywood borough consists of 1216 acres. It is west of Paterson by 8.1 miles taking Interstate 80. 

History

In 1894, the area split from the Midland Township and was officially incorporated as a borough. Its name would come from the New Jersey Midland Railway station located at 269 Maywood Avenue. The station switched owners in 1896 to the New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railroad. It would continue operating until 1966. In 2004, the station would be converted to a museum and open for public visiting.

Aside from the historical Maywood Station, Maywood is home to the following landmarks:
